What should I do if my internet seems to be too slow?

Sometimes our customer experiences service that is too slow. If this is the case, please ensure that the most common speed issues have been addressed and that basic maintenance has not affected the speed before contacting us.

Please:

  • Check your internet speed without a router – the computer on which you want to test your internet speed should preferably be connected directly to our network (without using a router) – using a wired connection. It is routers as well as wireless WiFi connections that are a very common source of problems with the speed and stability of internet connections. Occupied radio bandwidth in the customer's flat, interference from routers in neighbouring flats or, finally, incorrect configuration or technical parameters of the device itself.
  • Check the internet speed several times, at different times of the day.
  • Restart the router by disconnecting it from the power supply (for a few seconds) – we eliminate speed problems resulting from routers hanging up by disconnecting the devices from the power supply and switching them on again.
